Sharni Vison, an Australian American actor and dancer, was born on July 22 of 1983, in Sydney Australia. In 201, she made her debut as an actor in an Australian soap-opera called Home and Away. She was in a minor role for only two episodes. The casting agent wished to see her perform one of the leading characters. Though she was able to audition to play the part, she was not selected. The role was instead set in the show in the role of Cassie Turner. The character is young troubled girl who lives with foster parents.
