She is a country pop singer best known for portraying Lucy Camden in the hit television show 7th Heaven. She costarred alongside Jessica Biel, on the famous series 7th Heaven. on the popular show on television 7th Heaven. Mitchell's debut major role came in The Crow: City of Angels as Grace, the teenage drug user. Mitchell was a child actress when The Crow was filming. She auditioned for Mary Camden as part of the 7th Heaven family drama. Producers initially turned her down as they did not think she was suitable to play Mary. Her audition was a success and she auditioned for the role of Lucy. 7th Heaven had a very long time running of eleven seasons.
