Ina-Garten
Ina Garten is well-known American cookery book author and Emmy award winning host of Food Networks current oldest show Barefoot Contessa which debuted in 2002 and aired 27 seasons till 2020. Ina started her career as a writer with the White House, writing the nuclear energy budget and other policy papers. The first time she was able to find her profession interesting and stimulating but then she lost interest, and purchased a tiny market for specialty foods named Barefoot Contessa. She spent eighteen years making her store very successful, before letting it go and picking up the pen to write her first cookbook. The other cookbooks came out, as the magazine column. While she was at it, her Food Network show was also was a huge success. Her products range from cookware and kitchen appliances to storage containers. Ina is a self-taught cook who has not attended any cooking classes, nor worked in a kitchen. Her name is associated with her casual approach to cooking and entertaining. Some of her best known recipes are Skillet-Roasted Lemon Chicken Beatty's Chocolate Cake Mac and Cheese Beef Bourguignon Balsamic-Roasted Brussels Sprouts and Lemon Bars.
