Tina and Amanda
Tina Louise was an American actor, performer, as well as a writer. She is most famously recognized for her role as Ginger Grant from the TV series Gilligan's Island. In the 1950s, she started her professional career as an actor on stage with Bettle Davis' show Two's Company. In the following years, she appeared on Broadway in a variety of shows up until the year of 1957 when Li'l Abner made it huge at the National Theater. In the year 1957, she debuted her own album named It's time to Tina. Louise began her Hollywood career in the year 1958 where she portrayed Griselda Walden in God's Small Acre, a film that was dramatic. The film was a massive success, and Louise earned an award called the Golden Globe Award for the New Star of the Years category. She attended Actors Studio, New York at the time, and later became Lee Strasberg's teacher. Her next memorable role came with the year 1964, after she joined CBS to portray Ginger Grant in 1964. Louise managed to mix her profession with ease between Broadway TV and Hollywood performing somber characters against her perceived image of being a glamorous doll. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. In SG-1, she played Helen Magnus and Sanctuary. But, over the last few years she's also made her impression as a director for numerous popular television shows like Supernatural or The 100. She was born in Essex on August 28, 1965. Her family emigrated to Toronto at the age of three which is where she spent the rest of in the adolescent years and childhood. When she was selected for the role of Samantha Carter, she moved to Vancouver in 1997 and she has been there since then.
